The founder

Meet Omar


I started Onyx because I spotted a gap. And on the other side of it — an opportunity.

I'm Omar — a 21-year-old Londoner and the founder of Onyx Staffing Group. I started Onyx because I spotted a gap. Event companies, hotels and corporate organisers across London were consistently struggling with the same thing: finding reliable, well-presented staff at short notice.

And on the other side, there were young people in London with the drive and the attitude, but no way in. I saw a business in that gap. So I built one.

Every client gets a direct line to me. Every member of staff is personally vetted and believed in. That's the Onyx standard — and it doesn't change, no matter the size of the event.
